The Birth Stories Writing Workshop is a one-day workshop for mothers, grandmothers, mothers-to-be, and birth practitioners—for anyone who wants to write about birth in a supportive, small group setting.
You can use the workshop to reflect on a past birth or prepare for the next one.
Taught by author, doula, and childbirth educator Deborah Davis, workshops take place monthly in Berkeley, CA. You can also arrange for a workshop to be taught in your home, school, or community.

It was during Deborah Davis's Birth Stories Writing Workshop that I finally wrote the difficult story of my son's cesarean birth. Thanks to her skilled facilitation and emotional support, writing that story was a relatively easy "labor" and a healing experience for me.
